Blood Glucose (blood sugar)

Core Body Temperature
Our core is our inside (like the Earth or an apple!). It is where our most important organs are and it is vital that it stays very close to our ideal temperature of 37degreesC. Just a couple of degrees too hot or cold can be fatal.

Blood glucose levels are essential for life. We need to have glucose in our blood so that all our cells can do respiration, however too much glucose and it damages and kills our cells. As a result our body monitors and maintains the levels very carefully
